Q: Do you have a plan or program I can use?

A: In every purchase you receive a bit of a how to use Plant Doctor products, this covers some hints and tips on lawn care and garden care, but not a program as such.

A general routine is the following:
Apply Plant Doctors Champion Lawn and Fairway/Greens grade every 3months, End of August, December, March and again in May before it gets to cold and the grass goes to “sleep” – you will want 20-40grams/m2 of lawn and gardens.

Then we recommend using 1ml/sqm of each of the products in our Lawn Lovers Bundle, fortnightly from September until about Easter, then apply monthly – adjust the Activ8mate up or down to slow growth and use a little more iron for a deeper green colour!

We try not to give strict instructions, just more a guideline to assist you, everybody has a different idea on how a great lawn should look and how much time and effort they can afford to achieve this!

You can also follow this same method across your garden beds – just keep the iron out!

As for mowing - Keep your lawn at about 25-35mm, mow every 2 weeks in Spring/Summer and monthly or as required in Cooler months.

Try not to cut off more than 1/3 the height of your lawn in any one cut. Always – Mow, then fertiliser, and avoid fertilising within 72 hours of heavy rainfall being expected.
